Kestrom started with a fitted white shirt that stayed in the wardrobe. It looked sharp on the hanger and clingy in the mirror. The shapewear we tried rolled up at the waist, showed a seam at the collar or felt like a wetsuit by lunch. So we made the tank we wanted: thin enough to vanish under a shirt, firm enough to smooth the line, and cut long enough to stay tucked.*
